How do I use walnut butter?

Is your walnut butter sweet or savoury?
Our Natural Walnutter is more savoury and roasted in flavour, while our Toffee Walnut & Cashew Butter has a sweeter, dessert-style profile.
What’s the difference between Natural and Toffee Walnutter?
Our Natural Walnutter is rich, roasted and more savoury in flavour, while our Toffee Walnut & Cashew Butter is sweeter, smoother and more indulgent — perfect for desserts, toast and spoonfuls straight from the jar.
Is your muesli gluten free?
No — our muesli contains oats and is not certified gluten free.
Can I sample your products?
Absolutely. We offer free tastings every Saturday at Salamanca Market so you can try the range before purchasing.
How should I store your products?
Store in a cool dry place away from direct sunlight. Natural oil separation can occur — simply stir before use if needed.
Do your nut butters contain palm oil?
No — we don’t use palm oil in our nut butters. We keep our ingredients simple and focused on flavour and quality.
Are your products made in Tasmania?
Yes — Hobart Food Co. products are proudly made in Tasmania using quality local and Australian ingredients wherever possible.
